The Washington State Department of Financial Institutions (DFI) provides regulatory oversight for our state’s financial service providers. The department's five divisions regulate a wide range of financial enterprises and individuals, such as: banks, credit unions, mortgage brokers, payday lenders, and securities issuers and salespeople.
