2. This data file holds over 1,000,000 records and will not load all records if opened in Excel. When using this file it is recommend you use methods and software that allow you to open data sets larger than 1,000,000 records. Or after navigating to the "View Data" button on the top right of this screen, a filter can then be applied to limit the data and allow for download of smaller file sizes that can be opened in Excel.
3. A student growth percentile (SGP) describes a student's growth compared to other students with similar prior test scores (Their academic peers).
4. Students are considered to have made low, medium, or high growth based on how they performed relative to their peers that earned similar prior test scores. Students that made low growth scored in the bottom 1/3 of their peers having an SGP in the range of 0-33.3%. Medium growth scored in the middle 1/3 of their peers having an SGP in the range of 33.4%-66.6%. High growth scored in the top 1/3 of their peers having an SGP in the range of 66.7%-100%.
