Estimated Annual TBD Vehicle Counts by County and Taxing Jurisdiction

This dataset provides estimates of registered vehicles to assist counties and cities (taxing jurisdictions) in forecasting the number of potentially eligible vehicles that may be subject to the Transportation Benefit District (TBD) fee. The data is organized by County, Location Code, and Taxing Jurisdiction.

3. Not all expiring vehicle registrations may result in a renewal at the listed location. For example, if a vehicle owner moves out of state, they may not renew their registration with the DOL. Similarly, moving to a different county would mean the registration would fall under a new taxing jurisdiction.
4. To obtain an annual TBD estimate for the Taxing Jurisdiction of interest, add up the counts for each Expiration Month.
